ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITIES

The Lighting Quotientis interviewing talented engineers for future opportunities both in our Product Design and Applications Departments.

Product Design Engineer - the experienced electro-mechanical engineers on our product design team participate in team discussions and in the design of new asymmetric and task/ambient lighting products; value engineer existing designs; modify standard product to meet specifier needs. A BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a BA in Industrial Design is required.

Lighting Design Applications Engineer - our Applications Engineers assist specifiers and sales representatives with setback, spacing and aiming information and provide computer generated estimates of light levels; prepare and analyze lighting layouts using AGI software; assist specifiers with luminaire mounting and other details using AutoCAD and Revit. Other activities include maintaining our photometric data base and documenting case studies for Marketing efforts. A background in human factors in lighting is required plus a BS in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.



SALES- ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING

The Lighting Quotient seeks a bright, energetic, talented and motivated sales professional. If you are innovative, goal oriented and have a passion for selling, you will be rewarded with unlimited career development opportunities and earnings potential.

Requirements include:
  • BS or BA degree in Sales/Marketing, Architecture, Interior or Landscape Design or Electrical Engineering
  • 3-5 Years selling, following qualified leads, and closing
  • Experience developing national and corporate accounts
  • Ability to give presentations to groups, including architects, lighting designers and engineers
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. and to stand for long periods of time (at trade shows)
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • This position is factory based with up to 75% travel.
